Summary:
Alec Peters is a tall combination forward that has a good set of offensive skills. With his skill set, he could end up being a second round pick in the NBA.
He possesses solid scoring skills. Peters shoots the ball very well, especially off the catch. He makes a lot of outside shots with great efficiency, and his size allows him to shoot over the top of most defenders. Also, he excels at using screens to make jumpers from anywhere on the floor.
Peters has a good feel for the game, and he has shown an improved ability to rebound lately. However, he is only an average athlete, and he may struggle to guard more athletic opponents as a result. He also does not collect many steals or blocks, so he will need to be more of a position defender in games.
Right now, Alec Peters may have the skills to end up being a useful role player in the NBA. While his lack of elite athletic ability or defensive skills may suggest he may not have as high of an upside as the other prospects, Peters may have the smarts and offensive abilities to carve out a long career in the league.
