Summary:

Derik Queen is a strong, mobile center that had a great freshman season at Maryland. He is a very skilled big man that is an excellent passer out of the post, and he excels at scoring and rebounding in the paint. He will need to add a reliable jumper to his arsenal and improve his defense, but he is a high IQ player whose skill set, versatility, and feel for the game makes him a likely lottery pick in the 2025 draft.
