Undersized for his position
Summary:
Mark Sears is a strong, mobile point guard that can shoot and pass the basketball. He can score on strong drives to the hoop, and he is also a good shooter that can space the floor, and he is a crafty player that helped Alabama get to the Final Four in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
He’s not an explosive athlete however, as he can struggle to make shots against taller, longer defenders, and his defensive limitations may make it difficult for him to defend given his lack of size, but Sears is a skilled playmaker whose offensive skills and intangibles could enable him to be a second round pick in the 2025 draft.
