Pros:

Strong finisher around the basket
Adequate low post scorer
Sets good screens for his teammates on offense
Great rebounder
Adequate defender
Above average athlete
Solid motor

Cons:

Needs to improve his face-up game
Must extend his shooting range

Summary:

Tobe Awaka is a strong, mobile combo forward that played very well in the 2023 U19 Basketball World Cup. He’ll need to expand upon his skill set offensively and show that he can guard quicker players, but he is a very efficient role player that could project to be a go-to scorer in college basketball in the future, and could be an NBA prospect to watch down the road.
